Damascus, SANA – Al-Wahda football team took first place on Thursday within round 16 of the football Premier League after beating al-Nawair team 3-1.
Al-Wahda increased its points to 35 ranking at the top of the league, while al-Nawair froze at 8th place with 19 points.
Tishreen Stadium in Damascus hosted another game of this round between al-Jaish which roughly beat al-Ittihad team 2-1.
On Friday, this round will wrap up with four games in Homs, Damascus, and Aleppo.
