The meeting touched upon expanding fields of scientific and technological cooperation and increasing scholarships in the field of higher studies (Master and PhD) at the Iranian universities, particularly in medical specializations, producing joint scientific projects which contribute to rebuilding the scientific and technological capacities of the educational institutions in Syria.

Both sides stressed the importance of the formation of a joint committee for scientific and technological cooperation and linking between the research and scientific institutions to benefit from the available potentials in the two countries.
