Damascus, SANA- Regional leadership of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party affirmed on Wednesday that the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as capital of the Israeli occupation entity is a hostile act that aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
“The decision completes Balfour evil declaration and comes in the same context,” the regional leadership said in a statement, adding the move is a brutal aggression on the Palestinian and Arab people.
It went on to say that the decision is a violation of the International law, particularly the right of peoples of self-determination and a violation of the UN General Assembly resolutions.
