200 tons of aid arrives in Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor, SANA – A twenty-truck convoy carrying more than 200 tons of relief substances provided by the Syria Trust for Development arrived in Deir Ezzor city on Monday.

Speaking to SANA, Deir Ezzor Governor Mohammed Ibrahim Samra said that the aid includes food materials, health items, medical supplies, mattresses, bed sheets, and clothes, in addition to school bags and books.

In turn, representative of Syria Trust for Development Hani Akel said that the convoy is the second of its kind to be sent by the Trust to Deir Ezzor, pointing out that as soon as the siege of Deir Ezzor city was lifted, the organization sent a legal team to help the citizens of Deir Ezzor to obtain official documents.
