Monday forecast: Hot weather still prevails

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures tend to rise and remain above average by 3 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal air pressure accompanied with a subtropical high air pressure and southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear in general, and misty and very hot in the eastern areas, al-Jazira and al-Badia.

The winds will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 36/20, Daraa 35/20, Homs 32/21, Hama 36/22, Lattakia 31/26, Aleppo 35/21 and Deir Ezzor 42/24.
