Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by a high subtropical air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The temperatures will continue to rise on Friday while on Saturday they will start to drop, yet they will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average and the weather will be hot and the skies clear to partly cloudy in general as rain showers are expected to fall over the coastal areas while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/25, Daraa 39/ 22, Homs 40/22, Lattakia 32/24, Aleppo 41/23 and Deir Ezzor 45/26.
