Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will remain from 5 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will remain very hot and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 4 to 6 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 43/25, Daraa 41/22, Homs 42/22, Lattakia 34/24, Aleppo 42/23 and Deir Ezzor 46/26.
