Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia desert areas.
The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 5 to 7 degrees above average and the weather will be hot and the skies clear in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 42/26, Daraa 40/23, Homs 40/23, Lattakia 35/25, Aleppo 42/25 and Deir Ezzor 46/27.
