Damascus, SANA – Temperatures will drop to become around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies clear in general;
some scattered clouds will develop, and misty weather will prevail in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia desert.
The winds will be western to northwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: 39/23, Daraa 35/22, Homs 34/20, Hama 38/21, Lattakia 29/24, Aleppo 37/22 and Deir Ezzor 41/24.
