ISIS commits fresh massacre in a village in Deir Ezzor countryside, abducts clan chief

Deir Ezzor, SANA-The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria terrorist organization, known as ISIS, has perpetrated a new massacre Saturday against the locals of Gharanij village in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.

Eyewitnesses recounted that terrorists from ISIS have killed four civilians from the village and mutilated their bodies, cutting off their heads at the village’s square.

ISIS had blown up a car bomb in the same village on August 9, killing seven civilians and wounding three others.

ISIS terrorists also killed two civilians in Deir Ezzor city on Saturday. Eyewitnesses said that the terrorists shot Qassem Hamad and Omar al-Khatlan in the head at the city’s central park.

Meanwhile, terrorists from ISIS abducted Sheikh Khalil Jaadan Abboud al-Hafil, cheif of al-Akeedat clan, in the area of al-Shoula on Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway on Saturday.

A source in the province said Sheikh al-Hafil, former MP, was taken to unknown area.
