Provinces, SANA – Army is pushing forward with operations against terrorist organizations in various areas across the country, targeting their gatherings and thwarting their infiltration attempts with the result of numbers of terrorists getting killed.
A unit of the Syrian army thwarted Friday a terrorist attempt to attack the gas and Syria Tel stations in Jabal al-Shaer area in Palmyra countryside, killing and wounding scores of them.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army units targeted terrorists in Um Sharshouh, Talbiseh, Um al-Reesh and the east of Rahoum village in Homs eastern countryside, destroying their weapons and vehicles.
On the other hand, a source at Homs governorate stated that a unit of the Syrian Army clashed with an armed terrorist group between the third station and Palmyra city and confiscated a tanker smuggling oil.
In Aleppo, a military source told SANA reporter that units of Syrian army made Friday a significant progress towards al-Jubailiyeh area and cement factory in Aleppo, eliminates scores of terrorists.
Units of the armed forces inflicted heavy losses upon terrorist groups in Daraa and its countryside, killing and injuring many of their members.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in the surrounding area of al-Khalil Mosque in Swaidan neighborhood, to the east of al-Masri roundabout in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad , and to the north east of al-Na’aimeh center in al-Na’aimeh town, and to the south of al-Thaiyleh Tanker, to the west south of Tal al-Zaater in the countryside of Daraa.
The source added that the army also destroyed a number of vehicles killing all terrorists inside them in Rasm al-Karaz to the south of Jadal and near al-Shoumara / al-Shayyah crossroads in al-Lajat area.
A car carrying terrorists heading for al-Yarmouk suburb was also destroyed.
A military source told SANA that army units have killed numbers of terrorists and wounded others to the east of Sayda town bridge and near the sports club in the town and on Atman-Dael road in Daraa countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of al-Lajat and al-Yadouda, killing and injuring many terrorists.
The source added that the army units killed a number of terrorists, including three snipers and foiled attempt to infiltrate into Tal al-Zaatar area in Daraa countryside.
Earlier on the day, the army eliminated scores of terrorists after targeting their gatherings in many areas in Sayda town and on Ataman-Dael road.
An army unit foiled an attempt by terrorists to attack a military post in Nahleh town in Idleb countryside where scores of them were killed.
A military source told SANA that the army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Maar Beleit and the area surrounding al-Shabibah
(youth) camp, killing and injuring many of them and destroying their equipment.
Another army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into a military post in Khan al-Shih farms in Damascus Countryside, killing many of
them and injuring others.
