Two women released two months after abduction by terrorists in Homs

Homs, SANA – Two women who had been kidnapped by terrorists from their houses in al-Waer neighborhood in the city of Homs were released on Thursday.

The release of Mirvat Auda and Maha Sunbul, who had gone missing for more than two months, was achieved with the help of dignitaries form Homs province.

Governor of Homs Talal al-Barazi told SANA reporter that the release of the two abductees came within a series of recent progresses in the file of people kidnapped by terrorists.

He affirmed that work is underway to do everything that could help in having stability restored to all the neighborhoods of Homs, hoping that the efforts being exerted will yield more success in the coming days with regard to releasing more abductees.
Terrorists in al-Waer neighborhood broke into the houses of the two women and abducted them after stealing all their money and gold jewellery.

Auda and Sunbul said they had lived under bad conditions during their abduction, expressing thanks to all those who contributed to their release.
