Kazakh Foreign Ministry: Outcome of Astana 4 meeting significant step toward peace in Syria

Astana, SANA – Kazakh Foreign Ministry considered the outcomes of Astana 4 meeting on the settlement of the crisis in Syria as a significant step towards peace in the country.

Sputnik quoted a statement of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry as saying that “Kazakhstan considers the outcome of the fourth international meeting on Syria in Astana as another significant step toward establishing peace in the country, it calls on the parties [of the conflict] to implement all agreements and confirms its readiness to further continue to contribute to international efforts aimed at searching for different ways of political settlement of the Syrian conflict.”

The Ministry hailed the agreement on the Russian memorandum on creating de- escalation zones in Syria that was signed by the guarantor countries of the cessation of hostilities.
