Presidential decree canceling law no.33 on establishing General Women’s Union

Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued legislative decree no.16 for the year 2017 on canceling the law no.33 for the year 1975, which was amended according to the law no.3 for the year 1984, and its amendments which stipulates for establishing the General Women’s Union.

According to the decree, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor will take the place of the General Women’s Union with regard to the rights and duties.
