Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in
all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a light to moderate
speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will be above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general to become cloudy in the evening and at night as local rain showers are expected to fall over the northwestern and the coastal areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/8, Daraa 21/8, Homs 22/5, Lattakia 21/11 Aleppo 20/7 and Deir Ezzor 23/7.
