Damascus, SANA – Minster of Interior Trade and Consumer Protection Abdullah al-Gharbi discussed on Saturday with Temirov Mukhamed Magometovich, the director of the Russian Sovokrim ZAO, means to enhance and develop economic cooperation between Syria and Russia.
Discussions during the meeting focused on the latest work which has been carried out by the Russian side in the field of equipping Tal-Kalakh mill which will be put in service soon, producing six hundred tons of flour per day, in addition to discussing the possibility of the Russian company building mils and silos and repairing ones that were destroyed by terrorism in Syria, in addition to transferring the necessary Russian technology for production lines in mils and silos.
In a statement to the press, al-Gharbi said that meeting aimed at working towards repairing 22 out of 30 silos destroyed by terrorists which had been used to store gains, in addition to carrying out maintenance for 10 mils.
The Minister expressed the Syrian side’s readiness to offer all possible facilitations to ensure the implementation of the projects, underlining the importance of training Syrian technical staff to enable them to manage and maintain facilities.
In turn, Magometovich stressed his country’s keenness to provide various forms of support to Syria and its people to improve the economic, commercial, and living situation, expressing readiness to implement the projects and business deals entrusted to the company at the lowest possible cost.
