Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the south accompanied by a low air pressure with a wet and cold air mass in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies are cloudy to partly cloudy, particularly in the western areas. Heavy rains accompanied by thunder are expected in the afternoon and will include most areas.
The winds will be southeastern and dusty as they will turn in the afternoon to southwestern of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 167/6, Daraa 18/6, Homs 18/6, Hama 19/7, Lattakia 20/9, Aleppo 17/6 and Deir Ezzor 22/7.
The heaviest amounts of rainfalls in most provinces were as follows: 43 mm in Tartous, 38,5 mm in Lattakia, 37mm in Hama, 17 mm in Quneitra.
